Fees and anti-spam

Transfers on production POA have no network fee and require no separate gas token. The chain has one block producer and no block-space auction. Inclusion still depends on transaction validity, node availability, and queue limits.

The producer limits each sender within a sliding window. Defaults are a 10-minute window and a threshold of 10 transactions. Below the threshold there is no additional throttle delay; this does not promise immediate inclusion.

Above the threshold, an exponential delay applies:

Transactions over thresholdDelay
12 seconds
24 seconds
38 seconds
416 seconds
532 seconds
Maximum1 hour

A delayed transaction remains pending. It becomes eligible after the delay if still valid and present in the queue. Confirmation is not guaranteed: Tron transactions have their own expiration, and pending records older than 10 minutes are pruned.

As older records leave the sliding window, the additional delay decreases. These are implementation defaults; operators must check the deployed configuration.

  • eth_gasPrice returns 0x0.
  • eth_estimateGas returns 0x5208 (21,000) for wallet compatibility.
  • gasUsed is an accounting field and may be nonzero even when the fee is zero.
  • With a zero fee, a transfer deducts only the transfer amount.

Add POA to your wallet configuration before use. Address and RPC compatibility do not imply support for arbitrary EVM contracts.

Throttling determines when the producer selects a pending transaction. The verifier re-executes included transactions and checks the state root; it does not replay queue scheduling. Changing delay settings does not change transaction validation rules.

Zero network fees apply within POA. Bridge deposits require Ethereum gas and Ethereum finality. POA-to-Ethereum withdrawals are currently disabled. Fees charged by external services are outside this protocol.
